Caroline was the best host ever. It had central heating, an iron, and multi-channel television though we didn't use it.

Perfect location for exploring the area - close to John o' Groats, Orkneys, Dunnet Head, and the Castle of Mey. Parking right outside was a bonus. the flat was beautifully appointed and everything was in great condition. the shower was excellent and the towels were big and fluffy. Didn't want to leave! the internet connection was really good.
The rooms had a strong and specific smell that some may not enjoy. the microwave didn't heat the food properly.

I had a fantastic stay at a wonderful flat in Castletown. the location was perfect, just a short distance from the beach and the beautiful dunes. It was also conveniently close to Thurso and Scrabster, where I caught the ferry to Orkney. it was a quick and easy drive to John o' Groats. On arrival, I was pleased to find a well, stocked shop right next to the flat. the check, in and check, out process was hassle, free and allowed for flexibility. the flat itself was well, appointed, with a comfortable sofa bed and a large smart TV. the provided guidebook was informative and useful. I also appreciated the fast wifi and ample parking available. a great experience!
Don't have any issues at all. 👍.

I recently stayed at a charming flat in Castletown and had a lovely experience. The location was great, not far from Thurso, and there were convenient amenities nearby like a fuel station, chip shop, and corner shop. The check-in and check-out process was simple and allowed for flexibility in timing. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable, even more so than the memory foam bed. I found the guide/booklet left by the hosts to be incredibly helpful and informative. The wifi was fast and the TV was a good size, and being a smart TV, I could easily access my favorite shows and movies.

Close to the beach, perfect for my morning strolls. , conveniently located for my day trips to Kirkwall and Wick John O'Groats Airport. I even got to see Sinclair's Bay. Fancy!
Oh, those creaky floorboards. Such lovely background music when I'm trying to sleep.

During my recent solo trip, I stayed at a charming flat in an ideal location, not far from the main town. The nearby amenities, such as the fuel station, chip shop, and corner shop, were all within a short walk. The check-in and check-out procedures were hassle-free and allowed for flexibility. I found the sofa bed to be incredibly comfortable, surpassing even the memory foam bed. In addition, the provided guidebook was informative and helpful. The fast wifi and sizeable smart TV were also a pleasant bonus.
I did notice a strong, specific smell in the rooms and in the locally supplied hand wash, which might not appeal to everyone.
